Members enjoy a special tour of Renaissance, Romanticism, and Rebellion: European Art from the Smith-Naifeh Collection with Todd Herman, PhD, President and CEO of The Mint Museum.
Drawn entirely from the acclaimed Smith-Naifeh Collection, this exhibition features more than 70 paintings, sculptures, and works on paper. This exhibition highlights the extraordinary range of innovation and expression that shaped European art during the 19th century. Many of the artists represented were not only leaders of their time but also influenced or worked alongside artists such as Vincent van Gogh. Organized thematically, the exhibition unfolds across three distinct sections: Renaissance, Romanticism, and Rebellion.
