Members experience Corey Pemberton: Living Well through the artist's own perspective during this member-only tour led by Corey Pemberton.
Corey Pemberton: Living Well includes more than 70 works spanning painting, collage, blown glass sculpture, quilts, and fiber arts. Each piece made by Los Angeles-based artist Corey Pemberton stands on its own, but together creates a layered portrait of lived experience. Living Well references the central theme of the show, one that dominates Pemberton’s two-dimensional work: ordinary living spaces depicting Black, queer, female, and nonbinary individuals living in spaces and exploring how people design and build out their living spaces with objects that reflect respite, personality, memories, and ambitions.
