BOOMKACK: A Community Dance Class – Jazz

A dance class for all, BOOMKACK is an inclusive program that celebrates self-expression, health and wellness, and community. Designed for participants of all experience levels, this class welcomes everyone in a supportive and non-competitive environment while exploring a variety of dance styles led by experienced instructors.
This Month’s Genre: Jazz
Jazz is an energetic, expressive dance style that originated from African American social dances of the early 20th century. Expect a high-energy class focused on rhythm, musicality, and style. The class begins with a warm-up, followed by technique and across-the-floor exercises. The second half is dedicated to learning choreography and performance.

- Recommended footwear: jazz shoes, athletic sneakers, or bare feet
