BOOMKACK: A Community Dance Class – Musical Theater Dance

A dance class for all, BOOMKACK is an inclusive program that celebrates self-expression, health and wellness, and community. Designed for participants of all experience levels, this class welcomes everyone in a supportive and non-competitive environment while exploring a variety of dance styles led by experienced instructors.
This Month’s Genre: Musical Theatre Dance
Musical theater dance is a dynamic, story-driven performance style that blends acting with dance techniques such as jazz, ballet, and tap. Expect a class focused on storytelling, character, and musicality. The class begins with a warm-up, followed by across-the-floor exercises. The second half is dedicated to choreography and performance.

- Registration is required.
- Recommended footwear: jazz shoes or athletic sneakers
- Ages: 12 and up
